Welcome to the OpenXAdES project!

OpenXAdES is a free software development project aiming at profiling  XAdES (XML Advanced Electronic Signatures), technical standard published by ETSI (European Telecommunication Standards Institute).

With digital signatures, common understanding of the document format is critical - digital signatures cannot be converted. OpenXAdES mission is to concentrate efforts on developing common document format and share implementations supporting this.

November 24, 2009 - AS Sertifitseerimiskeskus will revoke TEST-SK certificate (serial number 3C B4 25 19) issued by Juur-SK on December 1st 2009.

In order to ensure further functioning and validity of test ID-cards and other certificates previously issued by TEST-SK we have created new root test CA called "TEST Juur-SK" which has in turn has issued a new certificate for TEST-SK. New TEST-SK and TEST Juur-SK certificates are available from download from http://www.sk.ee/Repositoorium/SK-sertifikaadid/sertifikaadid-testimiseks

If your systems are checking validity of TEST-SK CA using CRL, you have to replace the old TEST-SK certificate (serial number 3C B4 25 19) with the new one (serial number 3C B2 95 B8) and also add new TEST Juur-SK certificate.

In case you will add new TEST-SK certificates to your web server configuration, there is need for replacing certificates in certificate stores of web browsers as well. Detailed instructions on certificate change are available here (in Estonian).

The change does not affect users of DigiDoc libraries. However, for the sake of clarity we have replaced TEST CA certificates with new ones in software packages distributed by SK.

Revocation of TEST-SK certificate is necessary for adding Juur-SK certificate to list of certificates automatically distributed with Mozilla web browser.
